"The Illahee"......A  1" to 1' scale model replica of the early 20th century Native American-themed summer home of prominent early Seattle citizens Judge Thomas Burke and his wife, Caroline, which once stood on the shores of Lake Washington near Seattle. Galia created the miniature portrait figures of Judge and Mrs. Burke and also contributed to the creation of the Illahee and its interior along with a group of other professional miniaturists. Upon completion, the Illahee was given by the artists to the
Burke Museum on the University of Washington campus and is part of their permanent collection.
